约翰卫斯理的祷告观（四）

引言

大家好！平安！

上星期我们看两篇特别祷文。

今晚，我们看两篇普通的祷文。

A Prayer from John Wesley

We offer up again our souls and bodies to you to be governed,
not by our will, but yours.
O let it be ever the ease and joy of our hearts,
to be under the conduct of your unerring wisdom,
to follow your counsels, and to be ruled in all things by your holy will.
And let us never distrust your abundant kindness and tender care over us;
Whatsoever it is you would have us to do
or to suffer in this world;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

一篇普通祷文

我们将我们的灵魂与身体再次献上让你管理，
不再按我们的意思乃是你的意念。
如此献上乃是我们心中的喜乐与舒适，
也是在你的无限智慧的引导之下，
来跟从你的指示并你的圣意来管理一切。
让我们没有不依靠你的丰盛的温柔与你慈爱的照顾；
在任何处境都是你为我们做的包括
经历世界一切的痛苦，
如此祷告是藉着耶稣基督我们的主，
他活着并你及圣灵一同统治，
一主，直到永永远远。阿们。

A Prayer from John Wesley

O merciful Father,
do not consider what we have done against you;
but what our blessed Savior has done for us.
Don’t consider what we have made of ourselves,
but what He is making of us for you our God.
O that Christ may be “wisdom and righteousness, sanctification and redemption”
to every one of our souls.
That His precious blood may cleanse us from all our sins,
and that your Holy Spirit may review and sanctify our souls.
May He crucify our flesh with its passion and lusts,
And cleanse all our brothers and sisters in Christ across the earth.
O let not “sin reign in our mortal bodies”,
that we should obey it in its lusts.”
But, “being made free from sin,
let us be the servants of righteousness.”
Let us command our hearts to you,
and let all our ways be pleasing in your sight.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who live and reigns with you and the holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

另一篇普通祷文

哦！满有怜悯的父，
请不要计较我们对你所做的事；
而思念我们救赎主曾在我们身上所做的。
不要计较我们所做所为的，
却看在主的份上他为着你来陶造我们，
每一个人的灵魂，
而显明出主是智慧、公义、圣洁与救赎的主，
并藉着他的宝血我们一切的罪得洗净，
如此你的圣灵更新并洁净我们的灵魂。
将我们的肉体与热诚及情欲，
让全球在主里的兄弟与姐妹都被洁净。
愿没有任何罪恶来统治我们的肉身，
而顺服在情欲中。
反而，我们在罪中得助。
愿我们成为公义的仆人，
将我们归顺于主。
愿我们的行为在你眼中蒙喜悦，
藉着我们的主耶稣，
他与你同活、同统治及圣灵，
一主，直到永永远远。阿们。

由两篇祷文中我们得着什么信息呢？

1）  卫斯理非常看重人的身、心与灵有否让神管理，正如他说一切的生活都是祷告。

2）  他也注重主的圣洁、公义，有否在我们生命发出效力。

3）  他非常注重圣洁，因此也注重罪的赦免。

4）  他也不忽略圣灵的大能大力在信徒的身上的运行。

5）  他也注重三位一体的神。

结论

生活就是祷告，祷告就是生活。

由生活见证上帝在你的生命中活出来。

其次，也让神来管理你的生命，这样才能活出主的智慧、公义、圣洁与救赎的生命。

（1） 你有否让神管理你的生命？

（2） 你有否看重圣洁、公义与神的救赎之恩？

（3） 罪与圣洁二者是对抗的，你如何胜过罪而过圣洁生活？
